At the General Session of the Peace of our sovereign Lord the Ring holden
for the County of Middx at Hicks hall in St. John street in the County
aforesaid by adjournment on Thursday the sixth day of December in the
twenty fourth year of the reign of our sovereign Lord George the second
Ring of great Britain Etc

A Bill of Mr. James Willder< no role > Clerk to his Majesty's Justices of the peace
appointed to use their endeavour to prevent the spreading of the distemper
amongst the horned Cattle in this Countybeibeginning May 5th. 1750 and
ending October 13th. in the same year [..] being laid before this Court
amounting in the whole to the sum of £9.15s.10d. for his Service and money
alledged to have been by him disbursed in relation to the premissesTho
In [..] said BillCark touching Notice that(amongst other things) the sum of three pounds in
charged in the said Bill for said Mr Willden attending three says with the
Inspectors at Barnet in Hertfordshire where Welch Fair was kept in order to
see that the same was not kept in Middx, and to examine the Certificates for
such Beasts as should be then sold ye brought into this County and to prevent any
infected Beasts coming therein, horse hire & expence,This Court upon
consideration of the matter is of of opinion that there was no necessity for the said
Mr. Willders attending with the said Inspectors [..] rat Barnet aforesaid upon
the occasion aforesaid, And doth therefore disallow the said sum of three pounds
But as to there sidue of his said Bill amounting to the sum of six pounds fifteen
Shillings and ten pence this Court doth allow the same And doth Order that Mr
John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay that sum unto the said Mr. Willder
in full of his said Bill, whose receipt together with this Order shall be a sufficient
discharged to the said Treasurer for such payment
