The Voluntary Confession of John Stanton< no role >
alias John the Fruister or taken before
Mr Henry Fielding< no role > Esqr . one of his
Majestys Justices of the Brace for the
Said County this 14. February 1749.

This Examinant Confesseth and Sayeth that
he together with one Edward Busly< no role > William
Russel
< no role > alias Captain Hath and one Peter [..]
Sir name is unknown assaulted together at a House
in Allen Street in the Parish of St. James
Clerkenwell on Tuesday the 13 Instant about
5 O'clock in the Evening says that they all
agreed to go together in order to Commit Rottord
Says that in Hann over Yard they met a
Gentleman in a Chair Street the chair and
he this [..] Examinant together with Edward Busly
Assaulted the Gentleman in the chair feanle
him and took from him nine Shillings and
two mner, and that he this Examinant took
from the said Gentleman his Sword Says that
upon the Gentleman desiring them to give them
his Sword again he this Examinant answered if
it was neither Gold nor Selves if he advertised
if he Should have if again Says that William
Russel
< no role > and aforesaid Rates stood with Pistols by
the side of the Chairmen.

And this Examinant farther Sayth that about
herinthe [..] morning they assaulted a Gentleman
in a chair in the Street near Burlington Garden
Say that he this Examinant Opened the chair together
with Busby both atteed the Gentleman for his money [..]
that the Gentleman handed out a Purle with Gold [..]
and her Six pound in it which this Examinant took [..]
that they afterwards took a Gold Wah to form the said [..]
and that Russel and Rster wen told puput at the Robbery

Taken and Voluntarily confessed upon me.
