To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Luke
in the County of Middlesex
and to the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Margaret Westminster
in the County of Middlesex

Whereas Complaint has been made by you the Church-Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Luke
unto us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(where of one is of the Quorum) for the County of Middx aforesaid
That Mary Nixon< no role > Singlewoman is

lately intruded and Come into your Parish of Saint Luke

there to Inhabit as a Parishioner contrary to the Law relating to
the Settlement of the Poor, and is there like to become Charge-
able, if not timely prevented. And Whereas, upon due Examination
and Enquiry made into the Premises, Upon Oath and other
Circumstances

it appears unto us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the said
Mary Nixon< no role > is

like to become Chargeable unto the said Parish of Saint Luke
and that the last legal Place
of Settlement of the said Mary Nixon< no role >
is in the said Parish of
Saint Margaret Westminster
These are therefore in his Majesty's Name to order and require you
the said Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Luke aforesaid, that you
or some of you, do for with remove and convey the said Mary Nixon< no role >

from your said Parish of Saint Luke
to the said Parish of Saint Margaret
Westminster and her deliver
to the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or one
of them, together with this our Warrant or Order, or a true Copy
thereof; whereby they are likewise required in his Majesty's Name
And by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forth with to receive the
said Mary Nixon< no role >

into their said Parish Care and provide for her
as their own Parishioner. Given under our Hands and Seals the
Thirtieth Day of November in the Year of our
Lord, One Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty Nine.
