At the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King
holden for the County of Middx at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the County
aforesaid by adjorunment on Monday the fourth day of December in the
twenty [..] third year of the regin of our Sovereign an Lord George in the
second King of Great Britain etc before William Withers< no role > John Lawton< no role > peter
Elers
< no role > Walter Berry< no role > Esqr . & other then Felony Justices four said Lord the King assigned to keep the peace
in the County aforesaid and also to hear and determine and felonys trespasses & other
inseeds committed in the same County

A petition of [..] appeal of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the parish
of [..] Ingate stone in the County of Essex being this day exhibited unto this Court
Setting forth That by virtue of an Order [..] under the hands and seals
of Henry Fielding< no role > and Daniel Gach< no role > Esquires two of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middx bearing date
the 22d: day of September last one James Michell< no role > an Instant aged about 20
Months was removed from the parish of St. Clement Danes in the County of
Middx to the said Parish of [..] Ingate stone in the County of Essex aforesaid as
being the last legal place of Settlement of the said James Mitchell< no role > And
that the Petitioners conceiving themselves to be greatly aggrieved by the
Judgement & determination of the said two Justices [..] do humbly
appeal to this Court for releif in the premisses, whereupon at the request
of the Petitioners It is Ordered by this court that the benefit of the said
Petition and appeal be saved unto the petitioners, And that the hearing
determining thereof be and the same is hereby adjourned untill the next
General Sessions of the Peace to be holden for the County of Middx, And
that the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the said parish of Saint
Clement Danes and all persons concerned do attend the Court of the
said next General Sessions of the Peace to be holden for the said County of
Middx by adjournment on Friday the eighth day of December instant at
ten of the clock in the forenoon to hear & abide the Judgement & determination
of the same Court touching the said [..] Petition and appeal
