I hereby certify that I saw the
deceas'd Robert Littlewood< no role > at the
Castle Tavern in Henrietta Street
about seven o' Clock the first Insr.
in the Evening that I observ'd the
Deceas'd Rob't Littlewood was ex-
tremely drunk, & that Mr. Pierces
Porter with some other of His Servants
were in the Passage opposite to the
Barr Room, the Door of which being
open I observ'd all that Past at that
Sicne: & hereby declare that nothing
serieas happen'd & that the said Porter
never attempted to strike Him or
offer Him Violence in any Respect,
& that in a few Minutes Mr. Pierce
order'd His Servants about their
Business & the said Robt. Littlewood
oat of His Houses

May 8th 1749
