Ropemaker , Henry LLoyd < no role > of the Parish of St. George in the
Said County Brewer's Servant , James Titcomb< no role > of the
King's Street Bloomsbury in the said County Carpenter and
John Mason< no role > of the said Parish of Saint Paul Shadwell
Victualer Taken upon Oath before me one of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said County this
Sixth Day of February Anno Domin [..] 1748 .

And first the said Frances Homan and James Homan< no role > Severaly
make oath That betwixt Six & Seven o'Clock this Evening one who
calls himself Henry Mr. Haslet came to the house of the aforesaid John
Homan
< no role > Pretending to ass for half a pint of Jin and upon Mrs.
Homan's telling him they did not sell any Gin he immediatly rusts
into the house Puss [..] Mrs. Homan and & went down into the Cellar
whereupon Mrs. Homan [..] sent for her husband to [..] turn him
out of doors, who being come another man now prisoner, whose nam [..]
is not known run in after Mr. Homan and went down Stair's
likewise pretending to take his Comncerades part and Sized Mr Homan
by the Collar And these said Examinants Thomas Stanard & Henry S'Loyd
John Sticomb< no role > and John Mason< no role > Severaly Make Oath That upon
hearing the noise in Mr. Homan's Coller they and each of them
went down to see what was the Matter (Mrs. Homan then crying
out for help) and immediately upon the said Thomas Stanards< no role >
Mr. Alaster [..] who attempted to threw him down whereupon the said
Other person whose name is not known came down Stairs
knocks out the Candle and likewise siez'd upon him the said
Thomas Stanard< no role > and then the said Henry Lloyd< no role > came to his Assistance
and prevented further mischief, And [..] these said Deponents
severaly on their Oaths Say that the said Henry Mr Master and the
said other person whose name is not known did feloniously &
and forcibly into the said house with an intent as they believe to Rob
the same (more especialy as the said person whose name is not known
did acknowledge the same since he has been taken into Custody.
