To the Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex Assembled in General Quarter
Session at Hicks's Hall in St. John Street in and for
the sd. CountyAssembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Long Aston in the County of Somerset

Sheweth

That by an Order under the Hands and Seals of
D: Hech stretter and Rd Hassell< no role > two of his Majestys Justices
of the Peace for the sd. County of Middlesex (one of the
Quorum) bearing Date the 9th. Day of June last John
Holder
< no role > Ann< no role > his Wife and their Three Children (to wit)
Joseph< no role > aged Seven Years Jacob< no role > aged upwards of three
Years and Ann< no role > aged upwards of one Year were removed
from the Parish of Finchley in the County of Middlesex
to the Parish of Long Aston in the County of Somerset
aforesd. as the Place of their last legal Settlement
whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves to be
Agrieved and agt. the sd. Order do appeal

Your Petrs. therefore humbly pray that a short
Day may be Appointed this present Session to hear
and Determine the matter touching the sd. Appeal
