The King against Richard Beale< no role > and John Beale< no role >
at the prosecution of John Sayer< no role > for an Assault.

To Wit.


George Arnold< no role > of the parish of Saint James with in the
Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex maketh Oath
and saith That on Thursday the fifteenth Day of this instant
October One Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty-seven He this
Deponent did deliver unto a person who declared her Name to be
Mary Sayer< no role > and Wife of John Sayer< no role > the Prosecutor in this Cause
a Notice of which the annext is a true Copy, at the House of
Mr John Sayer< no role > in Oxford Road the said Prosecutors Father
And this Deponent further saith That at the Time of delivering
the said Notice she the said Mary and also the said John Sayer< no role >
the Elder did Severally declare That the said Sayer the younger
was abroad beyond the Seas in his Majesty's Service and that
they would have nothing to do with the said Notice or Words to
that Effect.

Indictment found last January Sessions & Recognizance respited
in April Sessions following to this Sessions at Request of the Defts when
Sayer was in Flanders & is there still as a Private sold Wrorlaser [..]
