To the Worshipfull his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex in General Quarter Sessions of the Peace
at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in & for the sd. County Assembled

The humble Petition & Appeal of the Church wards. &
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Clement
Danes in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by an Order or Pass Warrant under the hand
& Seal of Rich Whitworth< no role > one of his Majestys Justices
of the Peace for the Liberty of Westmr . in the sd County
of Middlesex bearing Date the 22d Day of April
Instant Mary Manwaring< no role > was Passed as a Vagrant
from the Parish of St.George Hanover Square within
the Liberty of Westmr. to the sd Parish of St. Clement
Danes as the Place of her last legal Settlement
whereby your Petr. conceive them selves to be agrieved
and agt. the sd Pass Warrant do Appeal

Your Petitioners therefore humbly Pray
that a Short Day man be appointed this
present Session to hear & Determine the
matter touching the sd Appeal

And Your Petr shall pray Etc

At the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace of
our Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County of
Middlesex at Hicks Hall in St John Street in the County
afore sd [..] by adjornmt They the on Tuesday on Tuesday the twenty eight Day of
April in the Twentieth Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the Second King of Great
Britain France & Ireland Defender of the Faith

It is Ordered by this Court that the Churchwardens
& Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of the George
Hanover Square in the Liberty of Westmr . and County
of Middx have Notice of this Appeal & that they
& all Persons concerned do attend this Court on
Thursday [..] next at tenof the Clock
in the forenoon [..] to hear & abide the Judgment
& Determination of this Court touching the sd Appeal
