On the Prosecution of Jane< no role > the wife of Peter Gandon< no role >

Morgan Daires< no role > of Piecadilly in the County of
Middlesex Gentlemen maketh Oath and saith that he
this deponent did by the Order of Mrs: Priscilla Baker< no role >
go to the Coach and horses alehouse faceing the Gate
house Westminster in Order to Acquaint them to Sem
to the above defedant dureing her Confinement One
pint of Beer [..] Every day in order
that she might not be Starved for want of Supenance
and this deponent further saith that he Accordingly
went to the said ale house and Ordered A Pint of
Beet to be Carried to the Said defendant and when
the Same was Carried there James Sweet the
Turnkey absolutely refused to let the same be
Carried in unless this deponent gave him a half penny
which he was obliged to do before the Same was
delivered to the said defendant And this deponent is
informed and Verily believes to be true that no
Beer is Carried there to any prisonr: without paying
the keeper or Turnkey One penny per pott before
they will admitt into the Prison
