Houses of Correction in this County and recited as above This Court
doth ratify & confirm the Same, And this Court being of opinion that the
Said rates & prices Shall not extend to Such Rogues or Vagabonds as have
been or Shall be passed by the Keepers of the Said Houses of Correction doth
thereupon direct that a Committee of Justices of the peace of this County
be from time to time appointed to inspect & examine after the end of
every three Months the accounts of the Keepers of the Said Houses of
Correction of the charges which they have or Shall have been at in passing
& releiving Rogues & Vagabonds or incorrigible Rogues in pursuance of the
Said Act of parliament, and also the Certificates & Vouchers of the said Keepers
and to adjust what Sum of money ought to be paid to the Said Keepers
respectively for Such charges, and what allowance may be proper to be
made to them respectively for their trouble on account of the premisses,
to the intent that Such Committee may make their Report thereof to
the Court of General Quarter or General Sessions of the peace for this County.
