account or accounts of any Treasurer or Treasurers or high Constable or
high Constables of the Said County or their Representatives whom they may
Suspect or be informed to have County money remaining in their hands,
and to examine what Sum or Sums of money have been by them or any
of them received by vertue of any publick Rate or Rates made by the
General Quarter or General Sessions of the peace for the Same County, and
how and to whom the Same or any part thereof have or hath been by
them or any of them paid or disposed of, And if any and [..] Sum of
money is remaining in their or any of their hand [..] ballance
of their respective Accounts And the Said [..] to meet
at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the Said [..] twenty
Seventh day of September instant at ten the clock [..] noon, and
at Such other times as they Shall appoint for the purpose aforesaid, And
Such notice as the Said Committee Shall direct is to be delivered by the
Cryer of this Court or his Agent to the Said Treasurers or high Constables
that they produce their Accounts before the Said Committee at Hicks Hall
aforesaid at Such time or times as Shall be appointed in that behalf
And this Court doth further Order that the Cryer of this Court or his
Agent do give due notice to the Said Committee of Justices of their
respective Meetings at Hicks hall aforesaid to take the Accounts of the
Said Treasurers & high Constables And the Said Committee is desired to
take into their consideration the most proper ways & means for putting.
the Said Act of Parliament in execution, And the Said Committee are
desired to make their Report touching the premisses unto the Court of
the next General Quarter or General Sessions of the peace for the Said
County.
