maketh oath & saith that
he this, Deponent did on fryday last go to the house of one Mr. Farmar in
Ednsington Gore Lane
Kensington
in the County of Middlesex
where this Deponent
was Informed and verily beleives

the prosecutor in this
Cause then Lodged in order to Serve him with a Copy of the notice in Writing
hereunto annext, and upon Inquireing of a Servant Maid at the house
of the said Mr. Farman if the said Mr. Smart Lodged there the sd. Servant
told this Deponent that he did, and likewise that she expected Mr. Smart
home in about half an hour's time upon which this Deponent left
with the said Servant a true Copy of the notice annexed and desired her
to deliver the same to the said Mr. Smart as soon as he came home,
which she promised faith fully to do; And this Deponent further saith
that he did yesterday go again to the Lodgings of the said Mr. Smart
in Gore Lane
Kensington
aforesaid where this Deponent saw the sd.
Mr. Smart himself who Acknowledged to this Deponent the Receipt
of the notice left with the Maid as aforesaid by this Deponent & declared
that he should not trouble himself any further about the prosecution
in this Cause or Words to that Effect
