To the Rt. Worpl his Maties Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middx in their General Sessions of the Peace for the said
County.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of Saint Owen

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order under the hands & Seals of
Wm Booth< no role > & Anthony Wroth< no role > Esqrs. two of his Maties
Justices of the Peacefor the County of Middx (one being
of the Quorum) bearing date the ninth day of September
last your Petitioner was adjudged to be the putative Father of a Female
Bastard Child born of the body of Mary Walkwood< no role > in the
Parish of St Luke in the sd County of Middx in which
Order your Petr. is ordered & directed to pay to the
Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the said Parish
the sum of forty five shillings for the first four weeks
after the birth of the said Female Bastard Child and
for the charge of her Lying in and also two shillings
& six pence weekly for the purposes mentioned & contained
in the said order, That your Petr was not served with
a Copy of the said Order till on or about the 22d [..]
day of April last and not before

Your Petr. conceiving himself aggreived by
the Order & Adjudication of the said two
Justices humbly Appeal to this Court for
relief against the same
