County of Middlesex at their General Quarter Sessions
Assembled

The Humble Petition of Stephen
Wicks
< no role > Apprentice to Benjamin Warner< no role >
of the Parish of Saint. Mary White Chapple
in the said County Butcher .

Sheweth


That your Petitioner on the Seventh day of November
in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred
and twenty Eight became bound an Apprentice unto
Edwd. Tomkins< no role > of the said parish of Saint Mary White
Chapple in the County aforesaid Butcher . And on
the fourteenth day of September In the Year of our Lord One
Thousand Seven hundred and Thirty One was Turned
over unto the said Benjamin Warner< no role > of the Parish and
County aforesaid Butcher with him to serve during
the remainder time of has said Apprenticehood from
the date of the said Indenture Relation being there
unto had may more fully appear during which time the said
Benjamin Warner< no role > was and is to Teach and Instruct the
said Stephen Wicks the Trade Art and Mistery of a
Butcher and likewise by said Indenture was to provide
for his said Apprentice good and Sufficient wearing
Apparel during the said Term, But the said Benjamin
Warner
< no role > hath refused and still doth refuse to provide for
his said Apprentice any Manner of Wearing Apparel
So that your Petitioner is quite naked and diver stimes
your Petitioner is very refused beat and wounded in
a Barbarus manner.

Your Petitioner therefore most humbly Beggs that
your Worshipps may be pleased to order that he be
wholy Discharged from his sd. Apprenticehood or
Such otherwise as your Worshipps shall seem meet

And your Petitioner shall ever pray and so forth
