London Gentleman Maketh Oath That he this Deponent
did on or about the Eighteenth day of November last Personally Serve
Mr. Griffin who as this Deponent is informed has Acted in this
Prosecution of this Cause with a Notice in Writing purporting that
the Defendants had pleaded to the Indictment against them that
the Inhabitants of the Town of Colebrook ought to repair & Amend
that Moiety of the Bridge of the said Indictment mentioned which
in within the County of Middlesex And in Care no Replication should
be put in to that Plea The Defendants intended to Move the
Bench of Justices on the Eighth day of December being in the then
next Sessions to be held for the said County at Hicks Hall That
the said Plea might he Allowed
