of this County being a Quorum
of the Committee appointed by an Order made in
July sessions last to direct several repaires to be
done to the sessions house called
Hicks hall
in St. John
street
in this County and some necessary matters [..]
for the use of the said house to be found & provided
It appeareth to this Court by the said Report that the
said three Justices have caused the Tileing, Parapet
Walls & copeing stones to be amended, the copper to be
new sett, the cellar floor raised & new paved and a
new cistern & sinck to be sett up,and that they [..]
in the saidand that they have viewed the said
works, and examined the Tradesmens bills for the
same, and conceive there is reasonably due for
the same to John stable< no role >
the Plumber
(after deducting
the value of the old cistern & wast lead) eleven
Pounds & thirteen shillings, to Joseph Jackson< no role >
Bricklayer
eleven pounds & nine shillings, and to
Richard Jupp< no role >
Carpenter
two pounds & one shilling
It was Prayed that the said respective sume
may be paid to them respectively for the said
