Peace for the County of Middx .

The Humble Peticon of John
Tull
< no role > one of the petty Constables
of the parish of Southmims
in the said County.

Sheweth
That by Order of this Court
bearing Date the thirteenth day of January
now last past your Petr. was appointed and
admitted into the Service of releiving passing
and conveying of Vagrants in and through this
County in the room & place of Thomas Martin< no role >
one of the late petty Constables of the said
parish deced, at the rate of ten pounds for a
qr .ter of a year for such Services

That your Petr. has strictly performed
the sd Office from Michmas. 1731 and has been at a
great Expence and Charge in doing the same

That there is now due and owing to yor.
Petr. the sume of ten pounds for one qr.ter of a
years allowance made him for his Trouble and
Expences in the sd Service ending at Christmas
last past;

And That yor. Petr. being a very poor
man & having a great family of Children.

He most humbly prays
Yor. Worships would be
pleased to Order ye Paymt. of
the sd sume of ten pounds to
Yor. sd Petr.

And yor. Petr. shall ever pray Etc.
