p adjorn Jovis 13 o. die Januar 1731

It is Ordered by this Court that John Tull< no role > one
of the petty Constables of the parish of Southmims
within the Hundred of Edmonton in this County be and he is hereby admitted into
the service of releiving passing & conveying of
vagrants in & through this County for the
remaining pat of this present yeare one
thousand seven hundred & thirty one (unless the
Court of Sessions of the peace for this County shall
hereafter Order to the contrary) in the room &
place of Thomas Martin< no role > deced one of the late petty
Constables of the said parish, At the like salary
of ten pounds
he the said John Tull< no role > (as he hath
alledged) haveing performed the said service
since the death of the said Martin, And It
appearing by Certificate under the hands of Sr. Jon.
Austen
< no role > Bart. & Tho: Wotton< no role > & Honorat Smith< no role > Esqrs .
three of his Maties Justices of the peace for this
County residing within the said Hundred that
they doe approve of the said John Tull< no role > to be
employed in the service aforesaid, And It is further Ordered by the Court that the
said John Tull< no role > shall be allowed & paid for his
trouble & expences in passing & releiving of the
vagrantsthe life soafter the rate of ten pounds-
foreach quarter ofa quarter of a yeare for such-
time as he shall have performed the said service, And that the sd allowance
shall be paid to him as the Court of General or Quarter Sessions of the
peace for this County shall in that behalfe Order & direct,
