Whereas by vertue of several Orders of General
Quarter Sessions of the peace holden for this County
the hearing determining of the appeale of James
Ashley
< no role > against an Order under the hands & Seales of
Sr. Thomas Jones< no role > Knt . & Richard Newton< no role > Esqr . two of
his Maties Justices of the peace for this County
(Quorum Unus) bearing date the fifteenth day of
November one thousand seven hundred & twenty
nine (whereby the said James Ashley< no role > is adjudgedrespected
to be the reputed father of a Female Bastard child
born the twentyeth day of October in the same
yeare in the Liberty of the Rolls in this County on
the body of Margaret Bunting< no role > and become
chargeable to the said Liberty (as was alledged)
and whereby the sd Ashley aswas alledgedwas
Ordered to pay Several Sumes therein menconed on
account of the said child) was & stands adjourned
untill this present Generall Quarter Sessionsholden
of the peace holden for the saidCountCounty,
Now Forasmuch as sufficient reason hath been
offered to this Court for further adjorning the
hearing of the said appeale It is Ordered by
this Court that the hearing & determining of
the said appeale be and the same is hereby
further adjourned untill the next General
Quarter Sessions of the peace to be holden for
this County, And that the Overseers of the poor
of the said Liberty of the Rolls (upon service of a
copy of this Order) & all persons concerned doe attend
