WHEREAS Complaint is made untous 2of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace within the said County ofMiddx
(Quorum unus) by the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Hendon aforesaid, ThatTho: Finch< no role > [..]
and four children. (viz Sarah< no role > 11 years Eliza< no role > : 8 years,
John< no role > 3 years and William< no role > 1 year and ¼ old have

Intruded into their saidparishin order to gain a Settlement there
contrary to Law, andarelikely to become chargeable to their said
Parishif not speedily removed: We upon Examination thereof, and
ofother dni proof made unto uson Oath do
find and adjudge the same to be true, and do also adjudge that the last
Place of the saidTho. Finch< no role > [..] & childrenslegal Settlement
is inthe parish of Maribone in the County of
Mddlesex

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to require you the Church-
wardens or Overseers of the Poor ofHendon aforesaid,
to convey the saidTho Finch< no role > [..] 4 Childrenunto the Church
wardens and Overseers of the Poor ofMarybone aforesaid,
and there leavethemwith this our Order or a true Copy thereof,
requiring you the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor ofthe Parish
of Maribone aforesaid to receive and provide forthemas Inhabitants
of your saidparishand for your and every of your so doing,
this shall be your sufficient Warrant. Given under our Hands and Seals
atEdgware the20thDay ofAprillin theSecond
Year of the Reign of our SovereignLord Georg ye secondby the
