in Ipswich
aforesd: on the 28th. of the sd. Mouth whereby he declared
upon by Oath that John Freeman< no role >
& one Grimwood
& Long were the persons who enticed him to assist
& inform them how to break open & Rob this Deponts.
house an dyt: accordingly he did go wth. them and
commit ye. sd: offence and this Depont. Saith that upon
the sd. Information he did get ye. sd. Freeman
apprehended & this Depont was bound in a Recognizance
to prosecute him in April Sessions last but this Depont:
being advised that the Evidence of the sd: Little only,
would not be Sufficient to convict the sd. Freeman
and that it would be better for him to stay till the next
Sessions in Order to see if he could get any further
Evidence, this Depont: did not preferr an Indictment
against the sd. Freeman, but did afterwards preferr
an Indictment agt. the sd: Little & he was tryed and
Convicted therupon and this Depont. saith that he was
not able to gett any further Evidence against the
sd: Freeman or he would have Indicted & tryed him
for the sd. Offence
