To the Churchwarden and Overseers of the
Poor of the Hamlett of Milend Old Town in the
Parish of Stepney in the County of Middx : and
to all others whom these may Concern.

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto
up whose hands and seals are hereunto Sett two of his
Maties Justices of the Peace for the said County
(Quor un) [..] on the said Churchwarden and Overseers
of the Poor of the said Hamlett that James Westwood< no role >
and Rebecca his wife and one Child named Thomas
Westwood
< no role > aged four years Did lately Come into the said
Hamlett. Endeavouring to settle themselves there
Contrary to Law, And Whereas it Appeareth into
Us the said Justices that the said James Westwood< no role > is
Absconded And that his said Wife and Child
areActually become Chargeable to the
said Hamlett, And it Also Appeareth unto us upon
Oath that the said James Westwood< no role > and his said
Wife and Childwere last Legally
settled, in the Parish of Stocken Pelham near Bishop
Storford in the County of Hertford
which Wee Do Adjudge to be True.

These are therefore in his Maties Name
to will and Require you or some or One of you
forthwith on Sight hereof to Remove and Convey the
said Rebecca wife of the said James Westwood< no role > and
her said Childfrom and out of the said hamlett
of Milend Old Town to the Parish of Stocken Pelham
near Bishop Storford in the County of Hertford
aforesaid, And them there leave with the Churchwarden
and Overseers of the Poor or Some or One of them
who are hereby Required themto Receive and
Provide for According to Law And Hereof fail
not [..] Perills Given under Our Hands &
Seals the 24th Day of July Anno Dui 1727 .
