Maketh oath that he this Depont. Did on the 28th. day of
August. 1727 have [..] Notice in writing at [..] prosecutors now or late Lodging in
[..] Esqr. over agt. the Blow Last Cow Cross which was the only &
[..] elyset place as this Dept. was informed to hearof or whereby
prosecutor Gray might have notice thereof) which Sd Notice
was to this Effect. Vizt. that the Sd. Mary Lane< no role > Did Intend to
Appear at the next Sessions of the peace Holden at Hickshall
by Adjourment on wednesday then next following at tenn of
the Clock in ye Forenoon of the Same day & then & there would
Try her Travers on this Indictmt. the Sd. Lane And this Dept.
further Sayth ye. He this Dept. Did on the 26th. of Augt . Serve one
[..] Day who pretended that he was Sold for the Sd Prosecutor
[..] ay with an other Notice [..] to the Same Purport and Effect as
that Served on the Prossecutor who said he would Give the pressecutor
notice thereof
