The Humble Petition of Peter
Cresswell< no role > Keeper of the House
of Correction Clerkenwell

Sheweth

That your Petitioner is informed by the
neglect of a Servant not attending this Court
as he should have done, that your Petitioner
lyes under the displeasure of this Court, he
humbly Begs this Honourble. Court in their
Goodness will pardon this Offence he being
utterly Ignorant of his Servants neglect
& for the Future he shall take such Care
as the like Officer shall never be Comitted
any More.

And your Petitioner shall
allways pray as in Duty
