To the Rt: Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace for the County of Middx in their
Generall Sessions at Hicks hall Assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeale of the Church
Wardens & Overseers of the poor of the Parish of
St. Martis in the Fields in the County of Middx

Sheweth

That by Virtue of a pass Warrant under the hands &
Seales of John Ellis< no role > and John Milner< no role > Esqr . Two of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the said County (Quor Unus) bearing date
the 19th day of October last , Mary Dudge< no role > Widow of Thomas Dudge< no role >
deced and their four Children Vizt: Mary< no role > aged Six years David< no role >
aged five years Elizabeth< no role > aged three years and Sarah< no role > aged a year
and an half were removed from the Parish of St: Giles in the Fields
in the said County of Middx to the said Parish of St: Martin in
the Fields as the place of their last legal Settlemnt, Whereby your
Petitioners Conceive themselves to be agrieved

Therefore they humbly Appeale to your Worships
against the Judgment of the said Two Justices, And
pray your Worships will be pleased to appoint some
day this present Sessions to hear & Determine the
Matter touching the said Appeale

And your Petrs: (as in Duty bound)
Shall ever Pray Etc
