WHEREAS it appeareth unto Us, whose Hands and Seals
are hereunto set, Two ofHisMajesties Justices of the
Peace for thesaid County of Middlesex
(Quorum unus) upon the Complaint of the Church-Wardens and Over-
seers of the Poor of the Parish ofSt. Giles in the Fields
in the saidCountythatElizabeth Upton< no role > the Widdow of
Anthony Upton< no role > This name instance is in set 55. Esqr . di [..] is

lately come into the said Parish, endeavouring to settle
herslefthere without giving Notice in Writing to the said
Church-Wardens, or Overseers of the Poor, or any one of them, of the
House ofherabode in the said Parish, according to
the Statute in that Case made and provided; And [..] the saidEliz
Upton
< no role > appeareth unto us and we do adjudge that
she is
likely to become chargeable to the said Parish; And [..] it appeareth
unto us,further upon the Examination of the said
Elizabeth, Upton taken upon Oath and [..]

thatye. sd Eliza Upton< no role > waslast legally settled in the Parish of
St. Andrew Holborn in the Libty above Barrs in the
County of Middlesex

These are therefore inHisMajesties Name strictly to Charge and Com-
mand you and every of you forthwith upon sight [..] eof to remove and
convey the saidElizabeth Upton< no role >
from the said Parish ofSt Giles in the fields
in the saidCountyto the said Parish ofSt. Andrew Holborn
in the same County
and deliverherunto the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor there, who are hereby required to provide forher
