The Examination of William Taylor< no role > of Hamersmith
Fisherman taken the sixteenth day of March 1723 before
John Birch< no role > Serjt. att Law one of his Majties Justices
of the Peace for the sd. County of Middx

This Examinant saith upon Oath that this Morning he saw
Richard Absalom< no role > of Hamersmith aforesd Labourer in bedd with
Margarett< no role > this Examinants Wife in the sd. Richards house this
Examinant's sd. Wife being looking after the sd. Absalom's wife
who was lying in And saith that the sd. Richard & Margarett
were between the Sheets and had noe wearing Apparell on
except their Shifts And he this Examinant watched them there
above an hour and saith he verily believes that he the sd.
Absalom had carnal knowledge of her Body And that the sd
Absalom's Wife was in another Bed in the same Room asleep
as he believes because this Examinant called & awaked her
