on Monday the eighth day of this instant July used his utmost Endevour
to find out Peter Steele< no role > (his son 's Master ) to Serve him with a Copy of
the Petition and Order annexed in Order to which he went into
great Pultney Street where he formerly lived and at the house there
Enquired for him of his Sister in Law Sarah Richardson< no role > who told this
Depont. that she did not know where the sd. Peter Steele< no role > was but if
she did know she would not tell this Depont. after that this Depont.
Enquired in Lisle street after the sd. Peter Steele< no role > being another Lace where
he lately lodged but could gett now Informations where to find him or his
wife and then on the said Eighth day of July he went to the Signe
of the Sheers in Shoe maker rowe Blackfryers (the last date of
the residence of the sd. Peter Steele< no role > that his Depont Knew and
there this Depont. left a true Copy of the Petition and Order
annexed and the people of the house Declared to this Depent. that
they had not seen the said Peter Steele< no role > nor heard of him for some months
last past And this Depont. further Saith that the hath made all
dilligent Enquiry he is capable of after the said Steele< no role > in Order to
serve him with a Copy of the sd. Order and can't find nor
hear any thing of him or his Wife or Family
