their General Quarter Sessions

Whereas Thomas Thayer< no role > Esqr : was with
severall others Inhabitants of the parish of
Saint Andrew Holborne above Barrs in this County
nominated to serve as an Overseer of the Poor
of the said Parish for this present year
who by virtue of his Employment under his
Majesty as also being in he Comission of the
peace for this County conceives himselfe
exempt from serving such Office And
Desires that this Court would be pleased to
appoint Mr. Thomas Jones< no role > in this Stead or
such other fit Person as to your worships
shall seem meet
