upon reading the humble petiton & appeale of Edward
Tickner
< no role > & Matthew Dean< no role > Inhabitants of the parish of
Heston in this County on behalfe of themselves & the
rest of the Inhitants of the same parish exhites unto
this Court setting forth that the petr. & the rest of the
Inhitants of the said parish humbly think themselves
aggreived & very much oppressed by paying for
severall yeares last past more in proporcon to the
Rates made for the releife of the mained soldiers &
Mariners, Kings bench & hospitalls, and robberys
comitted within the Hundred of Istleworth then the
respective parishes of Istleworth & Twicken han is the
same Hundred according to the Quote Settled by his
Maties. Comrs. upon the respective parishes within the
same Hundred upon the Land tax of three shillings in
the pound, And the petrs. therefore praying on behalfe
of themselves & the rest of the Inhitants of the said
parish of heston that they may be releived herein
according to equity & Justice, It is ordered by this Court
that the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor, Constable
& Inhitants of the respective parishes of Istleworth &
Twickenham aforesaid doe attend his Maties. Justices of the
peace for the County at the next Generall Quarter
Sessions of the peace to be held for sd County by adjornmt
on Thursday the fifth day of April next at three of the
clock in the afternoon to shew cause why the sd Rates
charged Upon the sd.. Parish of Heston for releife of
mainned Soldiers & marniers, Kings bench & hospitalls
