The humble Petition & Appeale of the
Church wardens & Overseers of the poor of the
Parish of St Martin in the Feilds

Sheweth

That by an Order and the hands of Seales of John
Mercer< no role > & John Richardson< no role > Esqr two of his Maties Justices
of the peace for the said County (Quor un) bearing date
the third Day of January Instant Henry Comfort< no role > with
Margaret< no role > of his Wife and John< no role > their Young Child aged
at fourteen Months were removed from the parish of
St. Gyles in the Fields in the said County to the said parish
of St Martin in the Fields as the place of their last
Legall Settlemt.

Your Petrs. thinking themeselves Aggrieved
by the Judgemt of the said two Justices humbly
Appeale there from And pray that this Court
Will please to Order the Churchwardens &
Overfeers of the poor of the said parish of St
Gyles in the Fields And all parties herein
concerned to Attend this Court Some day
this Sessions to hear and A bide the Judgemt.
& Determinacon of this Court touching this
Appeale
