The humble Peticon of Ann Wellbone< no role > Widow -

Sheweth

That Yor. Peticoner last Wednesday was unfortunately a little in Liquor
and comeing by a person in the Strand Yor. petr. (being like to face) catcht hold
of her gown in order to save herselfes from falling and did tare the same-
Upon which your petioner was forced by the Mobb wch. was then there-
into the River of Thames and was there almost drowned and was at the
same time most truelly beaten and bruised.

That the Mobb after that carryed . her before a Justice of the Peace and was
comitted to New Prison .

That Yor. petr is avery carefull and industrious woman and is aged almost-
70 years and never was in a gaol before

Yor. petr. therefore most humbly prays Yor. Worspps
to be pleased to consider how extreamly she-
suffred and to order that she may be discharged
from her sd Corfinemt.

And Yor. petr. shall ever pray Etc.
