To the Constable Head boroughs
Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor
of the parish of

Whereasof the sd. parish
Victualler hath been Legally convicted before
me one of his Maties. Justices of the peace
for ye sd. County of Midlx for taking upon
ofown authority not being
thereunto Lawfully Lycensed to keep a
comon Alehouse or Sipling house & nseing
comonly the Selling of Beer & Ale within
your said parish contrary to the forme
of the statue in that case made & provided
for wch. offence he hath for feited the.
Sume of Twenty Shillings for the use
of the poor of the sd. Parish according to the
Statute in that case made and provided
his Maties. Name These are therefore in to Comand you on sight hereof
to demand of the sd.
the sd. Twenty Shillings for the use aforesd.
& if the shall refuse to pay the same
that then you forthwth. Levy the same
by distress & Sale ofGoods to be
by you taken & detain'd and ifshall
not pay the same within Six days after
such distress that then you do appraise
& sell the sd. distress & deliver the Over p his
(if any) to the sd.and for
default of such distress that you do openly
whipfor the Offence aforesd. Here of
fail not Given, under any Hand & Seal
