County of Middx

The humble Petition of Fran [..] Layton< no role > on the behalfe of Fra [..] Layton< no role > his Son

Sheweth


That your Petr: said Son by his Indenture of
Apprenticehood bearing rate the Twenty Fifth day
of March last became an Apprentice to one
John Clarke< no role > of the Parish of St James Clerkenwell
in this County Blacksmith for the terme of
Seven yeares comencing from the Date of the
said Indenture As thereby appears.

That the sd Master hath not Instructed yor Petr.
son his Busyness & frequently abused him
To answer which complaint their Master [..]
stanes bound by Recognizance before the Worspp
Justice ward to appear this present Sessions
And forasmuch as the said Indenture not being
Indented Yor Petr humbly conceives the Same
to be void

Therefore humbly Etc ays this Court
will be Pleased to appoint a day this
Sessions for the sd Master to attend to
shewcause why his said Son should not
be discharged from his said Master

And Yor Petr Shall Ever pray Etc
