Wee two of his Maties: Justices of the Peace for the County of Middx (one
where of being of the Quor) & Inhiting within the limites of the parish Chur [..]
of the parish of St.Giles in the Fields in the said County having mett together
& heard the Complaint of the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the
sd. Parish of St. Giles in the Fields concerning a Female Bastard Child born
in the said parish out of Lawfull Matrimony on the body of Honor Reynelds< no role > then. Singlewoman on the [..] eleventh day of November last which is
Baptized Mary & is now become Chargeable to the said parish & So
Likely to continue (which said Honor Reynolds< no role > Since the brith of
the said Female Bastard is Marryed & now wife to Thomas Taylor< no role > )
De find upon Examination of [..] the said Honor Taylor< no role >
taken upon Oath and other Circumstances That Edmund Goldrikey< no role > als Mun Goldgay< no role > of the parish of Lambeth in the
County of Survey Gardiner did begett on the body of her the
said Honor the said Female Bastard Child And do adjudge
him the said Edmund Goldrikey< no role > all Mun Goldgay< no role > the Patative
father thereof And do order & appoint him the said Edmund Goldrikey< no role > als Man Goldgay< no role > forthwith upon Notice of this Our
Order to Pay to the sd. Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of
the said parish of St Giles in the Fields the Sume of Nine
Shillings & Six pence already expended by the said Churchwardens
& Overseers of the Poor for Releife of the said Female Bastard
Child As also that he the said Edmund Goldrikey< no role > als Man Goldgay< no role >
shall weekly & every week some from henceforth pay to the sd. Churchwardens
& Overseers of the Poor or to Some or one of them the Same of
Two shillings & Six Pence for & towards the Necessary releife
of the sd. Female Bastard Child for so long time as the said
female Bastard Child shall remaine Chargeable to the sd. parish
And that he shall of & from the Charge of the said female
Bastard Child at all time hereafter Save harmless and
Indempnifie the said Parish of St. Giles in the Feilds Given
under Our Hands & Seales this fourth day of July Anno
