The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens &
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St Bartholomew by
Exchange London

Sheweth

That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the hands and [..]
of Richard Woodward< no role > and Moses Goodyeare< no role > Esqr . two of his Maties
Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex (Quorn unns)
bearing date the Sixth day of October Ano Din 1718 Mary
Sheffield< no role > Widdow of Robert Sheffield< no role > deceased was removed from
the parish of Chelsea in the said County unto the said Parish of
St. Bartholomew by Exchange alleadging the said Parish to be the
Place of her last legal Settlement

That your Petr conceiving themselves aggrieved by the
said Warrant and Judgment of the said two Justices do
humbly Appeal to your Worpps therefrom And Pray That
Your Worpps will be pleased to order the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Chelsea
to appear before you at a certain day to hear and abide
the Judgment and determination of your Worpps touching
this Appeal
