To all to Whom these presents shall Come I Charles
Fairfax
< no role > of the City of York Esqr Send Greeting Know Yee that I
the said Charles Fairfax< no role > Have Made Ordained Constituted and
Appointed and in my place and stead put And by these presents Doe make
Ordain Constitute Appoint and in my place and stead put Thomas
Cholmeley
< no role > of Grays Inn in the County of Middx Gent
my true and lawfull Attorney for me and in my Name to Register
or cause to be Registred my Name And All my Mesuages or Tenements
in the County of Middx whereof I the said Charles Fairfax or any
other person or persons In Trust for me or to my Use an is or are
seized or possessed and to subscribe my name in open Sessions to such
Registry Books or Rolls as by the Clerk of the Peace of and for the
said County or his Deputy shall be prepared for that purpose And to
[..] performe and Execute for me and in my name All such Acts
Matters and Things whatsoever requisit or necessary for Registring
my name and Real Estate as are required by an Act of Parliament
past in the first year of his present Majesties Reign Intituled an
Act to Oblige Papists to Register their names and Real Estates as
fully to all Intents Constructions and purposes whatsoever as if I
myself were present and did the same in my own proper person
And whatsoever my said Attorney shall Doe or cause to be done
in and about the premisses I Do hereby Ratify and Confirm the
same In witness whereof I the said Charles Fairfax
have hereunto set my hand and Seal this third day of Aprill in
the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventeen
