The Humble Peticon and Appeale of

Sheweth

That by an Order of Adjudicaton dated the 22d day of
February last under the hands and Seals of John Milner< no role > Esqr and
Henry Fetherston< no role > Bart , [..] two of his Maties Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middx (one where of being of the Quar) and whiteing with in
the Lymitte of the Parish Church of the Parish of St Giles in the feilds
in the Said County Seting forth That they haveing mett together & heard
the Complaint of the Churchwardens & Overseer. of the poor of the sd parish
of St Giles in the feilds concerning A Male Bastard Child born in the
sd Parish on the body of Mary Dodson< no role > Single woman on the [..] third
Day of February in the year of Our Lord And Thousand Seven hundred
and fifteen which is Baptized Richard < no role > and become chargeable
to the Sd Parish and Se likely to continue Did find upon Exaiacon
of the sd Mary Dedson taken upon Oath that your Peticoner die
be yett out he body of the Sd Mary Dodson the sd Male Bastard
Child. They the Sd Ju Fines did Adjud ye your & Peticonr He put a live
Father of the Sd Male Bastard Child and die Order and Appoint
your Peticonr Forth with upon notice of Such their Order to pay to
the sd Churchwardens and Overseers. of the poor or Some or One
of them the Sume of fifteene Shillings of law full mony of
great Britain by them then already expended [..] my the
the sd male, Bastard Child as also that your Peticoner should
meeleh, and every [..] be from thence forth pay unto the Sd Church wardens
and Overseers of the poor or Some or Out of them the Sume of two
Shillings & Six pence of like lawfull merry for and toward the Releife
and Mainteinance of the Sd Male Bastard Child for So long time as the
Sd male Bastard Child Shall remaine chargeable to the Sd Parish
And that he Should of and from the Charge of the Sd Bastard Child at age
times there after Save harmless and Indemnifie the Sd parish of St
Giles in the Feilds

That your Peticonr conceive my himselfe to be appreived by
the Sd Order humbly Appealed there from to his Court

And humbly [..] that this Court will be pleased
[..] Certein Time to hear the matt
of this your Peticonr sd appeale And to Order
the Churchwardens and Over seers of the poor of
the Sd Parish of St Giles in the feilds to attend at
the hearing & Determinacon there of And further
to Stand to abide Such Order and Direccon there in
as to third Court Shall Seem Meet

And Yor Peticonr Shall ever pray Etc
