Itt is ordered by this Court that James Williams< no role > who was now
convicted upon an Indictmt. agt. him for an Assault with a Intent to com [..]
the horrid and detestable sin of Buggery be and he is fined for the sd. Offence
1s. wch is ordered to be Estreated And the sd. James Williams< no role > is ordered to be
Set and put in & upon the pillory near the End of Russell Street in Covent
Garden in the parish of St. Paul Covent garden in this County for ye space
of one hour between the hours of Eleven in the forenoon and one in the
Afternoon of such day as the Sheriffe of this County Shall forthwith
appoint with an Inscripcon over his head describeing the said Offence
and the said James Williams< no role > is remanded to his Majesty's Goale
of Newprison in this County and ordered to be delivered by the
Keeper of the said prison to the Sheriffe of this County or his Deputy
to undergoe the said punishment and after the sd. James Williams< no role >
hath undergone the same then he is to be delivered by the sd. Sheriffe or
Deputy to the Governor. of the house of Correccon at Clerkenwell aforesd
there to be kept to hard labour untill the next genall quarter Sessions of
the Peace to be held for this County and then to be delivered
paying his Fees 17s:6d.

delivered out of Newprison aforesd. and is comitted to the
house of Correccon at Clerkenwell aforesd. there to be kept to
hard labour untill the last day of the next Genall quarter
Sessions of the peace to be held for this County then to be delived
