To the Rt. Worshipfull his Maties Justices of the Peace and Oyer and Terminer
for the County of Midlx

The Humble Peticon of William Taylor< no role > now a Prisoner in New Prison at
Clerkenwell

Sheweth


That Your Peticoner was tryed and Convicted this present Sessions for
a Riot and Misdemeanor in flinging Dirt and Stones at the house of
Thomas Leister< no role > and breaking his Windows on the first day of August last
being illmuniated on on Aut. of his Maties. happy Auossion to the Crowne

That Your Peticoner is very Sorry for being concerned in the said Riot
and is resolved carefully to avoid (for the remainder of his life) giving any
cause of Offence to the Government in like or any other cases

That Your Peticoner is incapable of paying a Fine of twenty pounds Sett
on him (being a poor Mann) having a life and Children who must [..]
Suffer in Want of Comon necessaries, if Your Peticoner is continued in Custody
for Non payments of the Said Fine

Your Peticoner therefore most humbly Prays Your Worships
to Mitigate and reduce the Said Fine

And as in duty bound Shall ever pray Etc
