Whereas upon reading the appeale of the Churchwardens &
Overseers of the poor of the parish of St. Mary Abchurch in
the City of London exhibited unto this Court against an Order
under the hands & Seals of Robert Wallis< no role > & Nathaniel
Collins< no role > Esqrs . two of his Maties. Justices of the peace for the County
of Middx (Quorum unus) beareing date the third day of April
instant whereby John Cleeveley< no role > was removed from the
parish of St. Margaret Westmr. in the sd County of Middx to
the sd. parish of St. Mary Abchurch as the place of his last
legall Settlemt; It was Ordered by this Court that the
Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the sd parish of
St. Margaret Westmr: & all persons concerned should attend
this Court on this thirteenth day of April instant to heare &
abide the Judgmt. & determinacon of this Court touching the
said appeale, Now upon mocon made unto this Court by
Councell for the Churhwardens & Overseers of the poor of
the sd. parish of St. Margaret Westmr. who prayed that the
hearing of the sd. appeale might be adjorned, and offered
severall reasons for that purpose, and upon hearing of
what was insisted on by Councell for the sd Appellants,
This Court doth Order that (on paymt. of the Sume of twenty
shillingstoby the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor
of the sd parish of St. Margaret Westmr. unto the Sd. Appellants
or one of them for their costs of this days attendance) the hearing
& determining of the sd appeale be adjorned untill the next
Generall Sessions of the peace to be held for the sd County of Middx and
that the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of both the
said parishes & all persons concerned doe attend his Maties.
