Whereas it appeareth unto us whose hands & seales
are hereunto Sett Two of his Maties: Justices of the Peace of the
sd: County of Middlesex (Quorum unus) upon the Complaint of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore of the Parish of
Greenford in the said County That Robert Carter< no role > and Sarah < no role >
his Wife are lately Intruded into the said Parish of
Greenford endeavouring to gett Settlements there contrary
to Law not haveing produced a Certificate to the [..]
them to be Settled elsewhere, And that they the said Robert
Carter< no role > and Sarah < no role > his Wife are likely to become chargeable
to the said Parish of Greenford Wee upon Strict Examinacon
thereof and of the said Robert Carter< no role > taken before us
upon Oath. doe Adjudge the Same to be true and that the
place of their last legall Settlement is in the Parish of
Northall in the said County of Middlesex where he Rented
a Tenement and Lands to the Vallue of thirteen pounds per Ann for
Oneth hole year together

These are in his Maties: name Strictly to Charge & Comand
you forthwith to Convey the said Robert Carter< no role > and Sarah < no role > his
Wife the next and directest Way to the sd: Parish of
Northall and deliver them to the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poore there who are hereby Required
to Receive and provide for them as Inhabitants of the said
Parish according to Law hereof faile not at your perills

day of Aprill in the Second yeare of the Recend of our
Sovereigne Lord George by the grace of God of Great
Brittaine France and Ireland King Defender of the
