Who saith that on Thursday
last ye 15th Instant
about five of the Clock in the
Evening one Edwd Smith< no role >
sent him this Deponents
to Mr. John Le Feaver< no role >
a Silver smith
in
Newport Street
for 3 Silver Spoons mark'd. E. R. S.
& told him that if he would call on his Wife
who lived in
Eagle Court
in the Strand
She would goe
along with him to ye Sd Le Feaver where he had told the spoons ye night before
& acordingly thus Deponent & the Wife of the Said
Smith went to the aforesaid Le Feaver & paid
one pound Sixteen Shillings for ye Sd Spoons &
had them delivered to them accordingly &
this Deponent [..] Sd Spoons & delivered them
to Mr Edward Rogers< no role >
who own'd them & said
they were the Spoons that was feloniously
taken out of his House on Tuesday night & this
Deponent further saith that when Edwd. Smith< no role >
was with the aforesd Edward Rogers< no role >
at
the Globe
in Essex street
on Thursday the 15th of this Inst,
the Sd Edward Smith Said to Rogers that if he
would be easy & not prosecute him he should
have his Spoons againe & accordingly by Ordered
this Deponent to deliver them to him upon
which he did & further Saith not.
