Who saith that Wednesday
night last about the Hours of Six or Seaven one
Edward Smith< no role >
as he verily beleives but being Candle
light could not be possitive brought three Silver
Spoons mark'd E. P.S & weighed Six Ounces &
Seventeen penny weight that he bought them of his & paid him five Shills
& four pence for Ounce which in all was one
pound Sixteen Shillings & five pence & that
on Thursday the 15th of this Inst
one Charles Royce< no role >
came together with a Woman to this Deponent
& ask'd him for three silver Spoons which he had
bought the night before of the Said Smith & yr
Woman who appears [..] be Mary the Wife of yr
Said Smith said to this Deponent that Smith
her Husband was in Trouble about these Spoons
& therefore desired he would let her have them
at the same price he bought them of Smith
for which he did & further Saith not.
