Upon reading the humble peticon & appeale of the
Churchwardens & overseers of the poor of the parish
of St. martins within the City of worcester exhibited
Unto this Court Settingforth that by order dated
the fourteenth day of April instant under the hands
& seales of two of his Maties. Justices of the peace for this
the County of Middx (Quorum urns) one sarah
Lewis< no role > wife of Evan Lewis< no role > deced was removed
from the parish of st. Ann in the Liberties of westmr
in the County of Middx to the aforesaid parish of st. Martin as the place of
the last legall settlemt. of the said sarah Lewis< no role > , And
that the petrs. find themselves aggreived by the said
order of the said two Justices of the peace, and appeale
against the same to this Court, And upon hearing of
what was alledged by Mr. Browne of Councell for the
said Appellants, This Court being satisfyed that the
said Appellants cannot be prepared to prosecute
their said appeale this present sessions Doth. upon [..]
Mocon of the sd Mr Browne, Order that the benefit of
the said appeale be saved unto the said Appellants,
and that the hearing & determining thereof be
adjorned untill the next Generall Quarter sessions
of the peace to be held for the sd. County of Middx,
And that the Churchwardens & overseers of the poor of
the sd parish of st. Ann Upon notice of this order & all
other persons concerned doe attend his Maties. Justices of
the peace for the County of Middx at the next Generall
Quarter sessions of the peace to be held for the same
County by adjornmt. on Tuesday the twelfth day of
July next at ten of the clock in the forenoon to heare &
abide their Judmt. & determinacon touching the said
appeale.
