The Humble Address of yor Maties Justices of the peace for the
County of Midd together wth the Grand Jury Assembled at General Sessions of the peace held
for the said County at Hicks Hall on Monday the sixth day of September
in the first year of yor Maties Reigne

May it please yor Matie


Tis It iswth great [..] pleasure & [..] satisfactionthat we
We with hearts full of Joy doe congratulate yor Maties most happy & peaceable
Accossion to the Throne of these Kingdoms, a blessing soe compleat & perfect as will
not only enable us to bear the great Loss of our late Queen of blessed Memory but given
us a mosttheagreeable prospect of our future happiness under yor Maties most auspicious Gouvermnt.& in the pretestant
Succession in yor Royal Line We beg leave to present our unfeigned thanks to yor Matie
for yor gracious Assureance to defend our Religion Laws & Liberties And as we are
eutirely secured Cu yor Royal Word which has been always sacred Soe we doe assure
yor Matie that we will to the utmost of our power maintain :& support your most
undoubled Right & Title to the Imperial Crown of these Realms Kingdoms against all who shall pretend
to oppose invade or disturbor invadethe same, and we do faithfyully promise to take all
Occasions to express our duty & allegiance to yor Matie in preserving the peace of this
County and
promoteing & supporting the Honor & Dignity of your Crow and the good & welfare of
all our fellow Subjects. & the [..] stant succession ur yor. Royall & illustrious line, and in prsenting
the peace of this County,
