Morgan Jones< no role > one of ye Watchman of ye Pish
of St James Westmr maketh oath ye on Tuesday
night last he Saw Severall Psons Runing
from ye end of Pricadilly towards Leister Feilds among
which were two wemen Soon after came three
other Watchmen and two of ye Sd Bollingbrooks
Servants who asked this Deponent why he had out
taken ye. Gentlemen Wt: were gone by him that
had made Such a Disturbance and broake Severall
Windows upon which he Wth: ye. Sd other three
Watchmen did Pursue and take ye. Sd two Wemen
and this Deponent went part of ye. way towards
ye Watch house wth: them and as he was returning
againe to Stand he mett three Gentlemen who
asked him Wtt: way ye. Occation of such a noyce in
ye. Street he told as it were some Gentm. ye. were gott
a little in Drink ye. Sd three Gentm. asked if they
had any wemen Wth. them and he told them
yea and that they were caryyd to ye watch house
and ye. Sd Gentlemen asked if were possible to
gett them out and this deponent told en he didn't
doubt of ye. If they would goe Wth: him knowinng
them to be three of ye. Sd Sevrl Psons that were
by ye. Sd Watchmen just before Pursued and
thought yt. ye. best was to Decoy an into ye.
Watch house which he did and told
Palmer one of ye Conbles. of ye. Parish of St. James
afore Sd that they were three of the Gentlemen
yt. were Pursued by him and ye other walcmen
for breaking [..] Sd Bolling windows
