Wee whose names are Subscribed and Seales hereunto Affixed Two
of her Majts. Justices of the Peace for the Libty of Westmr. aforesaid (Quor un)
and inhabiting near the Limitts of the Parish Church of the Parish of St.
Martin in the Fields in the said Libty of Westmr . haveing mett together and
heard the Complaint of the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of St. Martin in the Fields concerning a Male Bastard Child
born in the said Parish on the Body of Alice Johnson< no role > Single Woman
on the Thirteenth day of Aprill Instant Do find upon the Examination of the
said Alice Johnson< no role > taken before us upon Oath and other Circumstances That
Charles Pye< no role > did begett on the Body of the said Alice [..] Johnson< no role > the
said Male Bastard Child And that the said Male Bastard Child was born
in the said Parish of St. Martin in the Fields And that the said Alice Johnson< no role >
and her said Bastard Child are now Chargeable to the said Parish Weth
said Justices do therefore Adjudge him the said Charles Pye< no role > to be the reputed
Father of the said Male Bastard Child And that the said Bastard Child is
now Chargeable to the said Parish And we do therefore farther Adjudge
Order and appoint for the [..] ase and discharge of the said Parish That the
said Charles Pye< no role > upon notice of this Our Order shall forthwith pay to the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Martin in
the Fields the sume of Five Shillings by them disburst and paid to the [..]
Soe laying the said Woman And also that the said Charles Pye< no role > shall pay
the said Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor the Sume of Eleven
Shillings and Sixpence P Week for the First four Weeks from the [..]
of the said Child for Keeping the said woman and Child And after the
Expiracon of the said first four Weeks That the said Charles Pye< no role > shall
pay Weekly and every Week on Munday in every Week unto the said
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish for the time
being the Sume of Two Shillings and Sixpence for the Keeping and
maintaining the said Male Bastard Child for so long as the said Child sha [..]
be chargeable to the said Parish And we do also Order that the said
William Charles Pye< no role > shall forthwith give Sufficient Security to the said
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor to Perform this one Order Given
under one hands and seales the Sixteenthday of Aprill Anno Dni
1712 And in the Eleventh year of her Majts Reign
