This Indenture wittnesseth That Hosea Prickat< no role > Son of Phillip Prickat< no role > late of
the Parish of St. Botoloh Aldersgate in the County of Midd Smith Deck Doth put himselfe Apprentice
to Joseph Holdworth< no role > of the Parish of St. Sepulchres in the County of Midds Cordweyner
to learn his Art and with him (after the manner of an Apprentice) to serve from the day of the date
hereof unto the full end and terme of Seven-yeares from thence next ensuing and fully to be compleat
and ended during which said term the said Apprentice his said Master faithfully shall serve his Sents
[..] his lawfull comands every where gladly doe he shall doe noe damage to his said Master nor See to be
[..] of others but that he to his power shall lett or forthwith give warning to his said Master of the
[..] ame he shall not wast the Coods of his said Master nor send them unlawfully to any he shall not
omitt Fornicacon nor contract matrimony within the said terme he shall not Play at Cards
[..] ne tables or any other unlawfull Games whereby his said Master may have any loss with his
own goods or others during the said terme without Lycence of his Said Master he shall neither buy
nor till he shall not haunt Tavernes nor Play houses nor absent himself from his said Masters Service
day nor night unlawfully but in all things as a faithfull Apprentice towards his said Master
and all his decenlty he shall behave himself during the Sand terme And the Master his said Apprentice
in the same Art which he now useth (by the best meanes that he can) shall teach and instruct or
cause to be taught and instructed finding and providing unto his Said Apprentice Meat Drink Apparell
washing and Lodging and all other necessary & fitt & Decent for him during the Said terme [..] to
Witness whereof the partyes above named to these present Indentures interchangeably have
Sett their hands and seales the one and Thirtieth-day of JulyAnno Dui 1704 And in the
Thirdyear of ye. Reion of Queen Anne over England Etc.
